Englewood Shooting Wounds 23-Year-Old Man, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting in Englewood Wednesday night left a 23-year-old man wounded, police said.

At 8:20 p.m., the man was walking in the 7100 block of South Vincennes Avenue when he was shot, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was hit in the abdomen. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, Amezaga said.

No one was in custody.
