Big Band Concert For Seniors Set For Thursday

NORWOOD PARK — The sounds of the Big Band-era will fill the Norwood Park Senior Center on Thursday thanks to a free concert sponsored by 41st Ward Ald. Anthony Napolitano.

The Ron Smolen Orchestra will perform from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Norwood Park Senior Center, 5801 N. Natoma Ave.

The 10-piece dance orchestra performs waltzes, Latin styles, society numbers, jazz, Dixieland, pop and show tunes.
