NORWOOD PARK — If canceled checks, credit card statements and love letters from the one that got away are taking up valuable space, you can stuff all of it in bags and watch it be destroyed at a free paper shredding and electronic recycling event set for Saturday.
Sponsored by Ald. Anthony Napolitano (41st), an electronic recycling and shred day will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Resurrection Retirement Community, 7262 W. Peterson Ave.
Televisions will not be accepted.
