CHICAGO — A shooting in North Lawndale left a 22-year-old man dead on Friday night, police said.
At 10:30 p.m., Charles Wiley was in the 2200 block of South Kirkland Avenue when he was shot, said Officer Nicole Trainor, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
Wiley was hit in his neck and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, Trainor said. He was pronounced dead at 11:04 p.m.
No one was in custody.
