CHICAGO — A Lakeview shooting left a 27-year-old man wounded on Saturday morning, police said.
At 5:24 a.m., the man was walking in the 3200 block of North Lakeshore Drive when a car drove up and someone inside fired shots, said Officer Nicole Trainor, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man was hit in his foot. He took himself to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where his condition was not released but he was listed as "stable," Trainor said.
The shooter drove off and no one was in custody.
