COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — A burglar wore a mask when he ripped off a Wicker Park boutique — but he made a big mistake during his getaway, prosecutors said.

Zobia Courts, 27, dropped a bag he was carrying during the Dec. 3 break-in RSVP Gallery at 1753 N. Damen Ave., prosecutors said.

And a fingerprint on that bag led investigators to the West Pullman man, Assistant State's Attorney Erin Antonietti said during Courts' bond hearing Wednesday.

Courts is alleged to have been one of eight burglars caught on surveillance footage wearing masks and heavy coats. Courts is the same height and build as the man on the video who dropped the bag.

Prosecutors didn't specify what, if anything, Courts and his accomplices stole.

Courts, of the 900 block of West Vermont Street, is charged with burglary. He was arrested Monday.

Cook County Judge Adam Bourgeois Jr. on Wednesday ordered him held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
