EAST BUCKTOWN —  Veggie Bingo is back.

Profits from the weekly bingo game, which runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays through Aug. 31, will benefit a different Chicago community garden each week.

According to a Facebook post by the event organizer, NeighborSpace, the season opener on Wednesday will benefit the Chicago Community Gardeners Association.

Participants who get a bingo by matching the caller's numbers, announced via a loud speaker that extends to the picnic tables out front, could win a bevy of prizes donated by Spinning J Bakery, Dusty Groove, The Music Box, Big Shoulders Coffee, Irv and Shelly’s Fresh Picks and more.

Bingo cards are $4 each, or 3 for $10.

Kids are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, while dogs with owners can hang on the patio, but are not allowed inside the bar.

The Hideout is located at 1354 W. Wabansia Ave.
