LINCOLN PARK — Police are looking for two men they believe robbed two Lincoln Park restaurants at gunpoint in the past month, according to a Tuesday community alert.

On both occasions, two men walked into a restaurant, pulled out handguns and demanded money from the register before fleeing, police said.

The first robbery occurred around 1:30 p.m. May 20 in the 2000 block of North Halsted Street, police said.

The second robbery was reported at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of North Clybourn Avenue.

Police described the both suspects as black men in their late 30s or early 40s, standing between 5-foot-10 and 6 foot and weighing between 220 and 255 pounds.

Anyone with information on the robberies or the suspects is asked to call detectives at 312-747-8382.
