HERMOSA — A 41-year-old man was shot in his neck Tuesday morning while sitting in a parked car in Hermosa, police said.
Around 2:45 a.m., the man was sitting in the driver's seat of the car in the 4400 block of West Altgeld Street when someone shot at him from a passing white sedan, according to Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man was shot in the neck and brought himself to Community First Hospital, Pacheco said. Police could not provide his condition but said he was "stable."
No one is in custody, Pacheco said.
