WEST GARFIELD PARK — A 28-year-old man was killed and a 21-year-old man was wounded in a West Side shooting Monday night, police said.

Around 9:15 p.m. Monday night, the 28-year-old was shot multiple times in the 4500 block of West Gladys Street, according to Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. That man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Pacheco said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Adrian Watson, of suburban Berwyn.

Later, a 21-year-old man walked into Loyola Hospital with a graze wound to his buttocks, apparently from the same shooting, Pacheco said.

Police could not immediately provide any other information on the shooting.

No one is in custody, Pacheco said.
