AUSTIN — Four separate shootings in the neighborhood left six people wounded, one critically, between Monday morning and Tuesday morning, police said.

• Most recently, around 3:40 a.m., a 35-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 4900 block of West Huron Street when two men walked up and shot at him, according to Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition with gunshot wounds in his chest and arm, Pacheco said.

• About an hour earlier, a 33-year-old man was standing in the 1100 block of North Leclaire Avenue when a man walked up and shot at him, Pacheco said.

The man brought himself to West Suburban Hospital and he was transferred to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition with a gunshot wound in his leg, Pacheco said.

• Around 9:30 p.m., three people were standing on the sidewalk in the 300 block of North Pine Avenue when they heard gunshots and felt pain, Pacheco said.

A 43-year-old woman was brought to Loyola Hospital with gunshot wounds in her back and right leg, police said.

A 16-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man were both brought to West Suburban Hospital with gunshot wounds in their legs, Pacheco said.

All three people were "stable," police said.

• Around 4:55 p.m. Monday, a 19-year-old man was standing in the 5600 block of West Division Street when he heard gunshots and felt pain, police said.

The man brought himself to West Suburban Hospital, where he was listed in good condition with a gunshot wound in his right leg, police said.

No one is in custody, police said.
