Jordan Liggins, 18, Found Shot To Death In Englewood, Officials Say

ENGLEWOOD — An 18-year-old man was found shot to death in Englewood late Monday morning, police said.

Just before noon, officers found Jordan Liggins, of the 400 block of West 75th Street, unconscious in a car in the 6500 block of South Ross Avenue. Liggins had been shot in in his head and his hand, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman. He was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

Liggins was pronounced dead at 12:21 p.m. at the scene, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said. An autopy showed he died of multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.

No one is in custody, police said.
