DOWNTOWN — Police said they pulled a dead man out of Lake Michigan on Monday morning near Oak Street Beach.

The police department's Marine Unit pulled the man's body out of the water at 10:48 a.m. Monday near the 800 block of North Lake Shore Drive, according to Officer Ana Pacheco, a police spokeswoman. The man's age was unknown and a death investigation is underway, Pacheco said.
