ENGLEWOOD — A 32-year-old man was found shot to death in Englewood Sunday morning, police said.

Around 8:30 a.m., an officer saw a parked car in the 1100 block of West 72nd Street where a man was slumped over the steering wheel, according to Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man had been shot in his head, Lemmon said. He was pronounced dead on scene.

Police said the man was a documented gang member.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Dwayne Triplett, of the same address.

No one is in custody, Lemmon said.
