CHICAGO — A shooting that left two people wounded in Englewood led to a car chase on Friday afternoon, police said.

At 4:48 p.m., a 17-year-old and 20-year-old man were standing near an SUV in the 5600 block of South Bishop Street when someone began firing shots, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The shooter drove off but crashed his car near 47th and LaSalle streets, Lemmon said. He got out of the car and ran away.

Police found a gun, Lemmon said.
