Foster Beach Shooting Wounds 24-Year-Old Man, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was wounded during a shooting at Foster Beach on Friday night, police said.

At 8:52 p.m., the man was at the beach in the 5100 block of Simonds Drive when a man took out a gun and shot at him, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man's neck and chest were grazed by bullets, Lemmon said.

No one was in custody in the shooting.
