ANDERSONVILLE — A parade of stars including Orange is the New Black's Taryn Manning, musician Nina Sky and Whitney Mixter, of Showtime's the Real L Word, make their way through Andersonville for this year's Backlot Bash.
Backlot Bash 2016, taking place at 5238 N. Clark St., bills itself as "the hottest, most rockin’ and most attended outdoor women’s festival." The festival, which "showcases a mix of music and entertainment for the entire community, takes place over two weekends, June 16-19 and June 24-16, according to its website.
The festival, which began as a single day event in 2004, has grown to a destination for women during Pride celebrations.

• Thursday, June 16: Comedy Night at the Laugh Factory
The show, which is hosted by Kelsie Huff, features Gina Yashere and Gwen La Roka. 6 p.m. $18. 3175 N. Clark St.
• Saturday, June 18: Girl's Night Out at Seven Lounge
Girl's Night Out is hosted by Whitney Mixter and Sada Bettencourt. 3206 N. Halsted St. 9 p.m. $7.
• Sunday, June 19: Social and Wine Tasting at Himmel's
The wine tasting, which also includes food, will be held from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. Sunday. 2251 W. Lawrence Ave. $35.
• Friday, June 24: Pride Family Fest and Sunset Concert behind Cheetah Gym
The family festival features music from Jaclyn Rada and Friends, a performance by Noodles, the wonder dog, and a special kids concert from the Grammy-nominated Lisa Loeb. It also features face painting, family photos, a craft corner, Andersonville puppet bike, balloon artists, Gilbert the clown, ice cream and food. 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. 5238 N. Clark St. Free.
The Sunset concert features performances by Lisa Loeb, Cathy Richardson, Antigone Rising and Congress of Starlings. 5238 N. Clark St. 5 p.m. $15 in advance.
• Saturday, June 25: All Day Bash
The All Day Bash, which is hosted by Kennedy Grace, features performances from Catfight, Rapper Chicks, the Ready Freddies and DJ Marcy Mac. 4 p.m. $20 at door. 5238 N. Clark St.
• Sunday, June 26: Sunday Pride Day Bash
The Sunday Pride Day Bash features performances by DJ All The Way Kay, DJ Good Boy, DJ J. Cur, Nina Sky and a DJ set from Taryn Manning. 4 p.m. $20 at door. 5238 N. Clark St.
