ROSELAND — A 52-year-old man died after being stabbed multiple times on the Far South Side Monday morning, police said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Anthony Williams, of the 11700 block of South Perry Avenue.

Around 7:55 a.m. Monday, witnesses said they saw Williams fighting another man in the 11400 block of South Indiana Avenue when the other man pulled out a knife and stabbed him, according to Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

Williams was pronounced dead on scene, Amezaga said.

No one is in custody, police said.
