MORGAN PARK — The Chicago Police Department will host a car show from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday in Morgan Park.

Classic cars will take over the east parking lot of the Morgan Park Police Station at 1900 W. Monterey Ave. Participants in the free show are asked to enter at the corner of Pryor Avenue and Esmond Street.

Dubbed the "Cruise-In At The 22nd District," the first such show was held May 19. The idea is to build up the event until it eventually fills the parking lot, said one of the officers who helped organize it.

For more information about the show, call Morgan Park District police at 312-745-0620.
