BRIDGEPORT — A 36-year-old man was critically hurt after being shot in Bridgeport early Sunday morning, police said.

Around 3 a.m., the man was standing on the back porch of a house in the 600 block of West 28th Street when several shots rang out, according to Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
