AUBURN GRESHAM — A 20-year-old man, identified by Cook County Medical Examiner's Office as Kori Sellers, was shot to death on the South Side Saturday evening, police said.

Around 6 p.m., Sellers was sitting in the front passenger seat of a car in the 8600 block of South Ashland Avenue when someone reached inside through the driver's side window and shot him, according to Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

Sellers, of the 7900 block of South Sangamon Street, was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Tannehill said. He had been shot in his chest and his arm.

No one is in custody, Tannehill said.
