CHICAGO — A Hegewisch shooting left two men wounded on Friday night, police said.

At 9:50 p.m., the men, who were 40 and 44 years old, were in the 13500 block of South Torrence Avenue when they got into an argument with a man they knew in a parking lot, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The man took out a gun and fired it at the victims.

The 40-year-old man was shot in his left leg and the 44-year-old man was shot in his right leg. They took themselves to St. Margaret Hospital. Their condition was not released but they were listed as "stable," Lemmon said.
