NORWOOD PARK — Residents of the 41st Ward can learn how to save a life at a free CPR class.
Democratic Committeeman Tim Heneghan will host the class set for 9 a.m Saturday at Immaculate Conception Parish, 7211 W. Talcott Ave.
Many cardiac arrests occur in public places, and experts say the chances of survival are much higher if a bystander administers CPR before medics arrive.
Participants must be age 17 and older, organizers with the 41st Ward Democratic Organization said.
