ENGLEWOOD— An Englewood shooting left a 15-year-old boy wounded on Monday, police said.

At 3:55 p.m., the teen was walking in the 6700 block of South Sangamon Avenue, when he heard shots and felt pain, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The teen, who was shot in the back, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, Quaid said.

No one was in custody for the shooting, Quaid said.
