Garfield Park Shooting Wounds 2 Men, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting in Garfield Park left two men injured on Saturday afternoon, police said.

At 3:48 p.m., the men were in the 3900 block of West Erie when they were shot, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman, citing preliminary information. One of the men was hit in his right leg and the other was hit in his left foot.

The men were in good condition and were at the scene of the shooting, Tannehill said.

No one was in custody. No further information was immediately available.
