Ashburn Shooting Kills 25-Year-Old Man, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 25-year-old man was shot to death in Ashburn on Friday night, police said.

At 11:20 p.m., the man was sitting in a parked car in the 3700 block of West 75th Place when a man walked up and fired shots, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man rolled his car, hitting a parked car, Lemmon said. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center and was pronounced dead.

The man was identified as Mark Lindsey, of the 3700 block of West 75th Place, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. Lindsey was pronounced dead at 11:34 p.m.
