WICKER PARK —  Hanging around town this weekend?

Here are a few ideas for fun things to do. 

Snag a West African Haircut Sign. Deadly Prey Gallery's 3-day-only show features over 200 one-of-a-kind hand painted barber shop signs from Ghana, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Togo. Refreshments and snacks will be served on Friday. Prices vary. 1433 W. Chicago Ave.; 6 to 10 p.m. Friday; 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday - Sunday.

Score Clothes on the Cheap. Una Mae's annual Memorial Day weekend yard sale will offer lots of priced-to-go items, none over $25. Behind 1528 N. Milwaukee Ave., Hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

Pack a Picnic for Afro-Latin Music. In town for next week's 1-year anniversary of The 606, Los Bomberos de Don Segundo will perform music celebrating the presence of the African Diaspora in Latin American music and culture. Relax to a "Bomba jam" with Segundo and visiting artists Jerry Ferrao and Leró Martínez. Free. Walsh Playground Park, 1722 N. Ashland Ave.; 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Kickoff BBQ Season at the Sportsman's Club.  Chef Won Kim of Bridgeport's Kimski will be taking over the grill at a Western Avenue watering hole for the start of its third annual backyard BBQ series. Enjoy a heaping plate of Korean-Polish fusion food plus a new brew, a sour and crispy "Pitcher Beer" from a Penrose collaboration. Cost is $20. 948 N. Western Ave.; starts at 4 p.m. Sunday until supplies run out.

Check out Bucktown's 2nd Ipsento Along The 606.  The much anticipated 30-seat cafe offering sweets like 91-cent doughnuts in the mornings and savory charcuterie and cheese boards and beer at night. A "soft open" is planned for Memorial Day. 1813 N. Milwaukee Ave.; opens at 7 a.m. Monday.

Party on Whiskey Business' Rooftop. Home to Wicker Park's largest rooftop patio, Whiskey Business offers plenty of seats. Enjoy 80s and 90s themed cocktails such as the Champagne Supernova and creatively topped French fry dishes and stuffed burgers. As the name implies, there's whiskey, too. 1367 N. Milwaukee Ave., Memorial Day weekend rooftop hours are 3pm- 12 a.m. Friday; 11 a.m. - 12 a.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
