UPTOWN — An 18-year-old man has been charged with a burglary in the Buena Park area, police said.

Ronnie Phipps, of the 7600 block of South Oglesby Avenue, burglarized the home of a 62-year-old man in the 4200 block of North Greenview Avenue, police said.

Officers arrested Phipps early Wednesday morning in the 4200 block of North Paulina Avenue after they found him "to be in possession of several items that were not his," police said.

Phipps is set to appear in bond court Friday, where he faces one count of burglary, two counts of criminal trespassing and two counts of attempted burglary, police said.
