ROGERS PARK — Start making your grocery lists now: The Glenwood Sunday Market in Rogers Park opens its seventh outdoor season Sunday.
The market runs along Glenwood Avenue next to the Morse Red Line stop from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. every Sunday through the month of October.
This year, the well-known market is bringing in 28 vendors, its largest number yet.
It will also continue to match up to the first $25 dollars spent by customers who pay with state benefits — meaning for every dollar a person paying with a Link card spends, the market will also pitch in a dollar.
On opening day, the market's contribution will triple for those using benefits.
In 2015, the market gave out more than $12,000 to community members in need.
