WEST RIDGE — Police are looking for a man they said shot at officers after yelling a gang slogan at them early Wednesday morning.

Around 12:30 a.m., the officers were driving eastbound in the 2700 block of West Peterson Avenue when a man on a bike yelled a gang slogan at them, according to Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

When the officers stopped, the man pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots before fleeing, Lemmon said.

No one was hurt, Lemmon said, but the officers' car was hit by at least one bullet.
