UPTOWN — Ald. Harry Osterman (48th) and Lincoln Hall District Commander Sean Loughran have invited local faith leaders, residents and business owners to participate in a Peace March Friday.
From 7-9 p.m. Friday, the community will gather for a night of faith and action near the intersection of Argyle Street and Sheridan Road. At the same time, Ald. James Cappleman (46th) and the Town Hall District will gather at Uptown Baptist Church, 1011 W. Wilson Ave.
Positive Loitering will also take place at various Chicago Park District locations including Chase Park, Clarendon Park, Gill Park and Margate Park, according to Uptown Update.
