For Arts Lovers: A dedicated section within Wicker Park Fest, the arts fest will include installation art by John Bannon and performance art by Collaboraction, a Wicker Park-based nationally-renowned performance art company.

During the fest, Bannon will unveil a piece entitled “Universe,” a contemporary mythological model of the Cosmos. "The jaw-dropping installation work consists of a kinetic light sculpture composed of a life-size, sculpted human figure covered with mirrors and tethered to the top of a 20-foot radio tower," organizers say.

The "Collaboraction Art Oasis" will offer activities like the Dome of Dance, an Art Bar, Break Dancing and more.

For Kids: Located in the Walgreen's parking lot at 1372 N. Milwaukee Ave., the Kids Fest will offer Face Painting; Chess Wizards; Bungee Run; Kids Table- food creation; Bounce House; One Strange Bird-craft activity; Hair streaking; Nail painting; Children's Learning Place-Toddler Activity Center; Henna Tattoos; Cookie Decorating; Deep Fried Pickle- musical instrument making; Mad Science- Science Experiments; and Fitzgerald Martial Arts.
