SOUTH SHORE — Two shootings left four men wounded in South Shore inside a 1½-hour period Monday night, police said.

First, around 10:10 p.m., a 24-year-old man was standing in the 700 block of South East End Avenue when he heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man brought himself to Little Company of Mary Hospital, Lemmon said, where he was listed as "stable."

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

About 11:30 p.m., three men were sitting in a car in the 1700 block of East 69th Street when someone walked up and shot at them, Lemmon said.

A 25-year-old man was shot in his arm and a 21-year-old man was shot in his right leg, police said. Both were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where they were listed in good condition.

Another man, 32, refused treatment for a graze wound in his neck, Lemmon said.

No one is in custody for either shooting, police said.
