PORTAGE PARK — The sixth annual Six Corners BBQ Fest set for June 18-19 will offer ribs, chicken, sausage and beef — all with a side of music and wrestling.

Sponsored by the Six Corners Association, the two-day fest will take place in the Six Corners Shopping District near Cicero and Milwaukee avenues at Irving Park Road, organizers said.

Meat lovers will get a chance to chow down from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. June 18 and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. June 19 while raising money for beautification and arts initiatives.

Kashmir, which bills itself as Chicago's premier Led Zeppelin cover band, will perform at 7 p.m. June 18, while Too White Crew, which pays tribute to hip-hop's Golden Era with a six-piece band and choreographed dancers, will headline the festival's main stage at 9 p.m. June 18.

Chicago-based Bandoleros, which blends Middle Eastern, Spanish flamenco and Latin music, will close out the festival at 6 p.m. June 19.

The barbecue restaurants set to serve up tangy meat include BBQ King Smokehouse, Chicago BBQ Company and Robinson’s Ribs, organizers said.

There will also be activities for children and families — including arts and crafts — as well as pro-wrestling shows.

A $5 donation is requested at the entrance, organizers said.
