WEST HUMBOLDT PARK — Three men were shot and wounded, one critically, in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood Saturday evening, police said.

Around 7 p.m., the men were standing in the 4300 block of West Hirsch Street when a man in a black hooded sweatshirt walked up and shot at them, according to Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.

One man, 29, was shot in his back and brought to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.

Another man 18, was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound in his buttocks, Quaid said.

A third man, 19, was brought to Norwegian Hospital with a gunshot wound in his hand, police said. He was listed in good condition.

Police said the shooting "appeared gang-related."

No one is in custody, Quaid said.
