CHICAGO — In yet another Chicago expressway shooting, someone shot a trucker in the face on the Dan Ryan late Thursday.

The 68-year-old survived and managed to steer his big rig to safety and get out. But the shooter drove off and is still on the loose.

He had been shot in his face and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, state police said.

The inbound lanes of the expressway were were closed until 4:27 a.m. while police investigated the shooting.
