LAKEVIEW— A firefighter sustained a minor injury and eight people were displaced in a fire early Friday morning in Lakeview on the North Side of Chicago.
The fire started in the back porches of the 1065 W. Cornelia St. around 5 a.m. this morning. One firefighter sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital, according to Chicago Fire Department. The fire is under investigation.

The Cornelia Street fire marks the second dramatic blaze in Lakeview to displace residents this week. On Monday, a two-alarm fire at 3338 N. Marshfield Ave. ravaged multiple buildings and displaced 30 residents.
