Riot Fest Chicago Lineup Announced

CHICAGO — The Original Misfits, Morrissey, Ween, Rob Zombie and many more acts stack the lineup for Riot Fest 2016, which will take place in Douglas Park for the second year in a row.

The Original Misfits, were announced as headliners last week, making it the first time Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only and Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein have performed together onstage in more than 30 years.

Joining them at the top of the bill includes artists Morrissey, Ween, Rob Zombie, Death Cab For Cutie and Social Distortion, along with a mixture of punk, metal, rock, emo, and hip hop acts throughout the lineup.

Several artists will be performing definitive works from their catalogs at Riot Fest. Social Distortion will do a 20th anniversary performance of "White Light, White Heat, White Trash" on the exact date of the album's original release, Sept 17, 1996. Rob Zombie will perform White Zombie's "Astro-Creep: 2000" and The Hold Steady will play "Boys and Girls in America."

Riot Fest is Sept. 16-18 in Douglas Park. Tickets are available here.
