CHICAGO — A 17-year-old was found shot to death in North Lawndale Sunday night, according to police.

Officers responding to calls of shots fired at 9 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Karlov Avenue found the teen unresponsive after being shot in his armpit and chest, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

He was pronounced dead on the scene, Lemmon said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the teen as Stacey Fluckes, of the 4100 block of West 16th Street.

No arrests have been made as detectives continue to investigate, she said.
