Man Found Shot To Death In Austin, Police Say

AUSTIN — A 35-year-old man was found shot to death inside a car in the Austin neighborhood Sunday morning, police said.

Around 7:10 a.m., officers found the man unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his head in the 5000 block of West Washington Boulevard, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was pronounced dead on scene, Estrada said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Frank M. Hill Jr., of the 6100 block of South Talman Avenue.

Police said no one is in custody, and a homicide investigation is underway.
