LAKEVIEW — Frasca Pizzeria and Wine Bar is turning the corner on its first decade in Lakeview — and a little celebration is definitely in order.

So the rustic Italian eatery, 3358 N. Paulina St., is serving all its dishes for $10 Tuesday night in honor of 10 years in the neighborhood.

It's a chance to thank neighbors for supporting Frasca since 2006, when the recession made razor-thin profit margins even thinner for Chicago restaurants.

"We designed Frasca as a gathering place for the neighborhood," owner Josh Rutherford said. "Over the last 10 years, the community has truly endeared itself to us. This is our way of saying thank you."

Any menu items typically priced more than $10 will be included in the deal, from the $10-$15 wood-fired thin-crust pizzas to the $22 herb-roasted pork loin or flat iron steak. Children also eat free off the kids menu from 4:30-6 p.m.

Under the direction of executive chef Todd Stein, the Italian restaurant features hearty pastas, pizzas and an extensive wine selection.

Frasca was the first restaurant within the 4-Star Restaurant Group to offer the "kids eat free" promotion. It's beloved on review sites like Yelp for its food, atmosphere and half-priced wine deals.

In March, 4-Star announced plans for its third and fourth Lakeview restaurants, both coming to the Southport Corridor over the next two years. The French-Italian eatery Ella Elli will open behind Crosby's Kitchen — also owned by 4-Star — at 1353 W. Cornelia Ave. in 2017.

A still-unnamed Mexican restaurant will replace Justin's bar at 3358 N. Southport Ave.

The $10 offer is valid at Frasca from 4:30-10 p.m. Tuesday.
