Garfield Park Shooting Wounds Man, Police Say

CHICAGO — A Garfield Park shooting left a man injured on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

At 2:12 p.m., the man, who was in his 20s, was in the 700 block of North Trumbull when he was shot, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was hit in his left leg and was in good condition, Tannehill said. He was treated at the scene and was not hospitalized.

No one was in custody in the shooting.
