DOWNTOWN — If you're feeling a bit foggy this morning, we don't blame you.
Thick fog that began to blanket the city Tuesday stuck around into Wednesday morning due to light wind and moisture in the air, said meteorologist Gino Izzi. It's expected to dissipate by the afternoon, but might stick around along the lakefront, Izzi said.
"Conditions are improving very quickly already," Izzi said.
More than 90 flights had been canceled at Midway Airport by 7:45 a.m. because of the fog and weather, according to the city's Department of Aviation. O'Hare Airport was operating as usual.
