ANDERSONVILLE — The Andersonville Farmers Market will open for the summer season Wednesday.
The weekly market, which features early spring produce, baked goods, cheese, pie, tofu, mushrooms and prepared meals, is held from 3-8 p.m. Wednesdays on Berwyn Avenue between Clark Street and Ashland Avenue, according to a press release for the market.
It will boast eight produce vendors, four bakeries (including a gluten-free bakery, a free range meat vendor and a knife sharpener, according to Chicago Magazine.

The market has more than 30 vendors total including: B True Bakery, Big Head Farm, Chutney Davis, Defloured, First Slice Pie Cafe, Karl's Craft Soup, Mint Creek, Stamper Cheese and Tomato Mountain.
The market opens on May 11 and runs to Oct. 19.
