By Alex Nitkin | May 9, 2016 4:15pm | Updated on May 10, 2016 8:04am

EAST GARFIELD PARK — A shooting left two men, 26 and 35, on the West Side late Monday morning, police said.

Around 11:45 a.m., the men were standing on the sidewalk in the 3000 block of West Jackson Boulevard when a man walked up and shot at them, according to Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The men were brought to Stroger Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds in their torsos, Quaid said. They were later pronounced dead.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the older man as Michael Cunningham, whose home address was unknown.

The 26-year-old man was identified as Jeremy Hosey, of the 3700 block of West Grenshaw, in Cook County Medical Examiner's records. Hosey was pronounced dead at 12:18 p.m. of a gunshot wound in his torso.

Police said the men were documented gang members, and they believe the shooting was gang-related.

No one is in custody, Quaid said.
