WEST RIDGE — A 20-year-old man was shot in his buttocks in the West Ridge neighborhood early Sunday morning, police said.

Around 12:45 a.m., the man was arguing with another man in an alley in the 6100 block of North Oakley Avenue when the other man pulled out a gun and shot him, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was brought to St. Francis Hospital, where he was "stable," police said.

No one is in custody, police said.
