ARCHER HEIGHTS — A 58-year-old man was shot to death while eating at his kitchen table Saturday night, police said.

Around 8 p.m., a bullet came through the front door of the man's home in the 5200 block of South Kolin Avenue and struck him in his head, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman. 

The man was pronounced dead on scene, Estrada said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Andres Rivera.

No one is in custody, police said.
