CHICAGO — You can now get a 24-hour Divvy pass on your cellphone through an app.
The city is partnering with Transit App, available on iPhones and Android phones, to sell the passes. The change will help users bypass "lines at busy stations, such as those on the lakefront and at festivals or concerts," according to a city news release.
Divvy users will also be able to access the bikes without their key if they have the app. New users will be able to get a ride code through the app so they won't have to wait for their member key from Divvy.
