WEST RIDGE — On Thursday, celebrate Cinco de Mayo, the one-year anniversary of El Carrito, or both — but either way tacos and tequila are on discount all day.
To mark its first birthday, the Mexican restaurant at 6019 N. Lincoln Ave. (Peterson and Lincoln) is offering half-priced tacos for dine-in or carry-out all day, and dine-in orders over $25 come with a free bottle of margarita mix.
Of course, no suitable margaritas are complete without tequila, so the taqueria is also encouraging customers to BYOT: bring your own tequila. A Foremost Liquors is next door.
