CHICAGO — A 19-year-old man was wounded in a West Pullman shooting early Monday, according to police.

The man was in the alley in the 12400 block of South Lowe Avenue at 9:05 a.m. Monday when a black car approached and a passenger opened fire, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

He was struck in his buttocks, Pacheco said. The man began running but collapsed near 124th Street and Wallace Street, she said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, Pacheco said.

No arrests have been made, she said.
